In this part of Migjorn, there may be some areas with seagrass (it moves with the ocean currents). It’s hard to predict, but you will surely find stretches of white sandy beaches and others with seagrass.
On the other hand, these wide beaches are very calm and not crowded. Perfect for enjoying Formentera with children.

The only downside is that the refrigerators are small, but on the plus side, there is a small market for shopping and the restaurant and bar services offer excellent prices.

At Pelayo, you can enjoy one of Formentera’s most famous paellas by the beach.
