Casa Cala, with 3 bedrooms (+ annex), 4 bathrooms, and a private pool, is one of our seafront villas in Formentera.
It is ideal for families or groups of couples looking for a Mediterranean-style house with sea views, sunrise views, and La Mola.
The house is unique in its kind, as it is built almost on the cliff and faces the sea at 180 degrees.
The property is distributed over different levels, following the shape of the hillside. It has a main floor with bedrooms, living room, and kitchen, a bedroom on the first floor, and an annex in the lower area:
·On the main floor we find:
1 bedroom with A/C and a double bed with an en-suite bathroom.
1 bedroom with A/C and two single beds. Adjacent bathroom.
Living-dining room with sofas and TV.
Small kitchen equipped with everything needed: fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker (Italian style).
·On the first floor:
1 bedroom with a double bed and A/C.
1 en-suite bathroom with a shower and hairdryer.
It also has a private terrace with incredible sea views.
·In the Annex: just 10 meters from the main house.

The house has several spaces designed to enjoy the outdoors: porches and terraces connected to the house through large windows and glass doors.
At the back of the house is the private pool, which opens to the porch next to the living room, surrounded on two sides by walls that provide great privacy. To the east, it has sea views. It is equipped with sun loungers and chairs.

The main highlight of the house is undoubtedly its location, right above Cala en Baster (it is the only one with this privilege).
It is accessed via dirt roads from the main road or via a paved road from the town of San Ferran.
San Ferran offers all necessary services, a great selection of restaurants, a vibrant nightlife, and artistic markets.
The beaches of Cala en Baster are a mix of rocky and sandy areas. They have caves and are rarely visited. They are ideal for snorkeling or seaside walks.

In general, prices are premium level.
The minimum stay is 7 nights, and there are discounts for stays of one month.
Prices include taxes, bed linens, and towels, as well as check-in and check-out cleaning.
They do not include the Formentera eco-tax.
Payment and cancellation policy.
To book, a 50% deposit of the total amount is required.
The balance is due one month before arrival.
In case of cancellation due to personal reasons, deposits paid are non-refundable.
No cancellation fees will be charged if the trip cannot be made due to force majeure (e.g., border closures, natural disasters, etc.). Also a 2-hour daily cleaning is included (except in Sundays)

Does it have air conditioning?
Yes, it has air conditioning in all bedrooms and the main living room.
Can I walk to the towns or the sea?
The house is just a few meters from the sea. You can walk down for a swim at Cala en Baster, one of the most private beaches on the island.
However, in Formentera, it is common to visit multiple beaches during your vacation, so we always recommend renting a car for convenience.
Sant Ferrán is just over 2.9 km away, and Es Pujols is a 10-minute drive. Migjorn Beach is between 3 and 7 km away (depending on the specific beach).
If you enjoy hiking, you can walk along the cliffs from the house to the ancient towers or the town of Es Pujols. In the opposite direction, you can walk along the shore to Es Caló.
This area is well connected to various points on the island via the Formentera Green Routes, perfect for walking or cycling.
What are the check-in and check-out times? Is there a luggage storage service for the last day?
The maximum check-in time is around 5:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
However, we do our best to make these times flexible, depending on our check-in and check-out schedule.
When booking with Formentera Natural, you always have access to a luggage storage service for your last day.
Is everything included in the price, or are there additional charges?
Our prices are always all-inclusive, meaning check-in and check-out cleaning, taxes, electricity, water, bed linens, and towels are all included.
The Formentera eco-tax, a government fee applied in the Balearic Islands, is not included.
A 2-hours daily cleaning is also included, except on Sundays. Extra cleaning can be arranged if requested by the guest.
Is Casa Cala a good option for families with children? What about couples?
Casa Cala is an excellent choice for families looking to enjoy a holiday by the sea, but it is important to check that the layout of the house is suitable for your family group: bear in mind that only the two bedrooms in the main house are connected. The upstairs bedroom and annexe can only be accessed from outside.
You should also bear in mind that there are several steps, which can make it difficult to move around with pushchairs (or for elderly people).
The sea at Cala en Baster is ideal for children to practise snorkelling.
As for couples, it is undoubtedly a very romantic and Mediterranean option, thanks to its fantastic views.
Is there anything else I should know about Casa Cala?
Please note that parties are not allowed at this property.
Guests who choose to stay here are those who appreciate peace and tranquility.
Can I bring my pet to this seafront villa with a pool?

Can I arrive by boat to this seafront villa in Formentera?
This is one of the few locations where you can arrive by boat in a very discreet manner. In fact, this is one of the reasons some people choose it, as you can reach Cala en Baster privately and disembark using a dinghy.
Deep-draft boats must anchor about 100 meters from the shore, but small boats such as dinghies and inflatables can get closer to the coast.
